    Default CTC Tools?

Anyone had any luck contacting CTC lately? The website never came back after going down for maintenance?

Emails have gone unanswered. and Heine's ebay store is empty...

It would be good to know. I check the site every so often. Does not look good. Maybe Heine has retired to enjoy his spoils.

Its a shame CTC have disappeared, I always found them to be a reliable supplier.

There is always aliexpress of course but there is a bit of effort involved in sorting between the guys who know what they are doing and the resellers who don't have a clue about machine tools. Generally if they also have make up, shoes, dog collars etc listed on their site I look elsewhere.

On the eBay page it has a line about moving to new facilities and check back soon (or something similar.
He may have gotten too big and had to move, and is now sorting all that tooling into the new shop.

    Hi Ray,

While this seller, miracle-2012, does sell the items that Bob steers clear of, they sell indexable tool holders exactly the same as a number of tool holders I have bought from CTC. Same packaging, same makings on the tool, same perfumed grease coating the tool but the tools I bought from Miracle were cheaper. They also sell the typical ER chucks, collets, nuts and so on found elsewhere. miracle-2012 on eBay

For lathe tools I go to Daletools or T-Carbide mostly now. Not so cheap, but closer and quicker. CTC was still the go for anything else tho. I think I know what you mean about the perfumed grease coating.

Thanks for the link BT. I will have a look around the shop.

HaHa. I recently bought an MCLNL 20mm from a random Chinese seller as these tools are not easy to find for some reason. It is a mate to my first tool, a SECO MCNLR 20. Poor cousin maybe? It came from a store called Marylove1982. There are a couple of huge stores that I keep buying from, just picking from a search and "oh this mob". Seems funny looking at metal working bits when there is a picture of a young lady in dress at the top of the page, but then......Nah, they are usually draped over bikes or cars. Not the same at all. This is usually when looking for little bits like taps etc.

    totalcnctools | eBay

    dorladream2011 | eBay

    skull_music | eBay

totalcnctools has some good prices on collets and arbors.

I have checking CTC Tools website every so often and still says the same 'Moving' must be some issue. I hope they come back as I have always had good service from them apart from the shipping being a bit slow at time.

While some of the items are the same / similar are you sure this is his supplier ?
I have always only used CTC Tools for Collets and collet chucks, I don't see all the collet chucks at Wenling Lifeng.
In saying that I now get my endmills from Wenling Lifeng and love them, not much more $ then the HSS else where but 10000x more useful and take some serious abuse !
I also use them for Lathe tool holders and inserts where I can, I have their full catalog of lathe tool holders from a couple of years ago saved on the computer somewhere, good for quick reference. I believe T-Carbide on ebay is just reselling Wenling Lifeng stuff.

Somewhere on the webite he said that was his preferred and recommended supplier, but now I can't find it again.... I suspect that is only one of his suppliers and that the supplier sells some item exclusively to CTC. He may even have the IP right to some tooling.

Big difference in price for round insert 80 or 100 face mill between CTC and Wenling

Yesterday when I visited CTC I thought his prices looked steep and I am now somewhat convinced that they might be.

    but this is beautifull...lol

Pay attension:this order is only for Wayne...hahaha

Aliexpress.com : Buy combination order for Wayne from Reliable combine painting suppliers on Wenling Lifeng Precision Tools Co., Ltd.
