Can anyone.Identity the Brand
I have started restoring this tilting sine vice. The only marking on.it is a P with an arrow.under it. I Believe it's European as there is a Din number on the handle.
BETTER TO HAVE TOOLS YOU DON'T NEED THAN TO NEED TOOLS YOU DON'T HAVE

I'm not sure China, I reckon it looks too refined to be a Palmgren. I have one of their catalogues along with a few others and I will have a look tomorrow to see if I can come up with anything.

OK , I've had a look through through the catalogues and the closest but not close enough is Palmgen's 45V. The finish is far removed in reality from the catalogue illustrations.

There are a few Parkinson machine vices featured in the McPherson's catalogues but not a tilter though that doesn't mean they didn't make one. Anyway, it is a good looking substantial vice. Nice find Andre.
