I Wonder how much of this stuff is staying in Australia and how much will go overseas.

Some time back I was surprised by the amount of machinery that was being bought here in the UK and then shipped to India. I was told that it was being refurbished and sold on to Indian machinery manufactures. I know of a company filling 40Ft containers with machines and tooling.

A lot of people think that because something is at an auction they will naturally get a bargain.
