Qualos Mill : Any traps to look out for ?
Hello,
Am off to have a look at this mill tomorrow.

It's a feeble round column drill mill, the absolute bottom of something that can even be described as a mill. It's so overpriced that the owner is dreaming IMO. Save your time & money for a real mill. Those round column things are notorious for losing Z alignment as soon as you have to raise/lower the head, which is often. PDW

Totally agree with the above comment. They had that "mill" in the maintenance workshop in Adelaide where I used to work. . Changing the speed via pulleys is real pain. Cross table is just a piece of junk. Even for taiwanese standards very poorly made. Better stay away of it, my friend.

I have one and it's not terrible as a milling machine but its not great. They make an excellent drill press, I think I paid $800 but if I where to buy again It definitely have to be a dovetail column
