    Default Pickup from Grays Point

    Hi,
Is there anyone who could pick up a Gravograph from Grays Point (south east Sydney) and box it for me to arrange a courier? At this stage the seller wants a pick up only. I would drive up but i won't have time till after Xmas at this rate.

    Cheers,
    Ew

    Default Pick Up Point

    Ewan
Its the same for me, I am a very long way from this place miles & miles or should I say kilometers & kilometers.
I would be only too pleased to assist you if it was not so far.
I am sure there is someone on this forum who lives near Grays Point who could help out.
    regards
    Bruce

How big and heavy is this device? I have a Toll account and I can send it via them or AP.

    Hi Chris,
They are only small, Maybe BT or Michael G could give you a more accurate idea, but you could put it in the back seat of a car. It is an R2, a google came up with 11Kg, plus fonts etc.

    Ew,

Got a mate that lives in Grays Point. Won't see till thursday (our usual lunch date...beer date).

Give me some details and maybe he can pick it up and then we'll see.

    Ew, Chris, Steve,

Here's mine - http://www.woodworkforums.com/f65/an...4/#post1531731 . They aren't big, just a bit awkward. If the seller was prepared to bubble wrap and tether the arms, it should be fine in a large cardboard box.

That looks like it needs to be pulled apart to courier or post. I have a full week coming up and would have to make a special trip to have a look. See if Steve's mate can have a squiiz and see what he thinks.

    Thanks Andre.

Thanks too to Muzza 260, who has offered as well.

Andre your inbox is full, please let me know if you are still ok to pick it up, otherwise i'll take up Muzza's offer.

    Cheers,

Ewan,How did you go?I can still get it picked up and maybe get it transported to Canberra (depending on the ex wife) if she is taking the kids down to see the grand parents.Otherwise I can hang on to it till you arrange transport for it.

    Thanks Steve,
Andre has contacted me (and emptied his inbox) and sorted it out with the seller, I figured that was easier than getting a friend to pick up etc. I certainly wouldn't want to put any strain on you and your ex either! Thanks for the offer though.
