Default What a state I was in

Hi all,as most of you know I have been on holidays in the wonderful state of South Australia for the past two weeks and I had a ball.
They have some of the best examples of Cornish pumping engine houses in Australia but I wont bore you with those pics but I did manage to take some pics of old shop machines.
All up I took just over 800 pics, gotta love digital cameras, so needless to say I wont be posting all of them.
I was instructed to take a shot of the sun setting which is about as boring as a long cut on a lathe. More exciting being in a coma, but you gotta do as your told
Here is a selection of stuff I saw along the way.

    Hi Kraehe,
The last time I was there they had it all running, all slowly and not cutting anything but it looked fantastic.
Agreed, they must have the entire east coast supply of those colours.

Now the first lot are at the Pioneer Settlement in Swan Hill. Now I know it's an SA holiday but if ever I am in the area I will always call in and have a look at the competition
    Second lot are at Moonta.
    Third lot are in Mannum.
And of course the fourth lot is the Cornish pumping engine house in Moonta.
This lot were taken at Burra

oi enough of the 'old' stuff this is SA and we have just got out of the bronze age. One day we hope to have roads out of Adelaide. You was in the outskirts of WA and must have missed the sign saying Adelaide, State of SA. Nice pics though
