Hi Mike,
That looks pricey to me, for a 1hp drive.. you can get 2hp V/F drives for about 1/2 that price.
On the other hand, it depends on what you are thinking of doing?

I bought mine from this guy below and it only took about 4 days to get here from memory.
This is a 2 hp one, but like Ray said you can run anything under that as well. If you do decide to go with this one a lot of us have them and you will have plenty of support in setting it up if you need it, as we all have manuals to follow..

PS
The new Myford owners did come down hard on anyone selling stuff on ebay under the Myford name. It caused huge negative posts about them on forums, so they must of let up on it

Be wary of VAT
I went through hell when I purchased my VFD from Drives Direct with respesct to VAT.
In Australia, we do not pay VAT.
See here http://www.woodworkforums.com/f65/ho...ck-vat-129405/
Also do a search on Drives Direct VFD for a lot more info.

Roger that :
I have gone with the crowd and ordered what you guys are using .
Looking forward to installing it.
Now all I need is a suitable 3 phase motor . I do have one ..it came with the camel back , an old Crompton Parkinson ? I think .
This forum has proven to be a winner in many ways .
