    Cool Lathe Taper Attachment Home Made.

    Here is my 20 dollar taper attachment in action cutting some #2 MT arbors. I have lots of how to make it pics if anyone is interested. The cross slide srew is removed so the cross slide floats on the sine bar....Bob

    Thanks for the pictures of the attachment,very interested to get more details,of fabrication.
    I am particularly interested in the Sine Bar Setting if you could provide more photos etc.
    I made a Sine Bar fixture for setting the compound slide on my Hercus Lathe & will post seperate photos on the forum today.

    Its the same old one
    I did just add some screws and guide blocks to keep the rollers into the shaft as it was wandering a little and it works a whole lot better on long tapers. Here are a few building pics i just posted in an album here...Bob
