    So how about a game.
See how many nuggets you can find in this lot?

    Stuart
The Dickinson QCTP is a nugget... ( if value is the criteria ) Nice selection of boring bars... what's the thing second from the top on the right, it has a taper and a bit of thread? I'd guess it's an arbor for a T&C grinder maybe? If that's in good nick it could be considered a bit of value..

    Regards

    Hi Bob,
I'm very interested in the 'T' bolts.
I'll check the slots today and get back to you tonight.

Now guys, you need to practice, though there maybe a few of those nuggets as well Ewan.

    Hi Ray,
This the thing you were talking about? I'm not sure what that is. Any ideas?

You got close with "boring bars"(though they will come in handy, as will the "shaper sized" HSS)

One of the boring bars is in fact an internal threading tool and down the bottom you can just see an external threading tool. Bid and crossed my fingers, lucked out they are both 60degrees. Given the number of threads I cut I should be set for life.

An easy to knock up tool for using letter stamps on an arc.

Am yet to really go through it all.

I've got no hope Stu, until john pointed it out I didn't even notice that Glens mars had a fill in for the gap in the bed. I look at the same machine pretty well every day and I didn't see it
I only looked at the pics on my tiny 4" phone screen, yep pathetic excuse but its mine and I'm sticking to it!

    Cheers,

I was just looking at yours thinking "shame about the ugly weld on mine" and wondering why it was there. I was thinking the back would be solid and flex... not have a slot full length! So that at least explains the weld lol
After a little cleaning its the real deal. It seems to have a bell(or would that be a whistle?) yours doesnt.
I'll take some pictures and add to your thread.
