Nice score welder.
As for the other tools, it depends a lot on what you have already to what they are worth to you. To buy one at a time would cost many $100's (if they aren't rubbish). But if you already have most of them then they arent worth that much to you.
sid(ch)rome sockets in a blue box?

For what you pictured I was thinking something around $150 tops, but if there is a lot more that is a different matter.

If you offer low he can always say no, and then you can offer higher and come to an agreement.
If you offer high you can't go back down.

do the sidchrome tools have "made in ausralia" stamped on them? either way, he wants to sell them, not you wanting to buy them so offer him something stupid like $50, tell him you already have all this stuff and they are just going to be spares. negotiate, thats what its all about.
don't offer too much, make an offer and leave your number, us kind of blokes love tools like a stamp collector gets excited over stamps (go figure) be cool and and pay as little as possible.

hi mate sounds like a great deal you did very well. is that a set of gedore hex sockets aswell? if so there worth at least $120 on there own. plus there tough and rarely wear out unless you use them with a rattle gun.
gedore are great spanners you probably wont have to buy spanners ever again. i brought some tools today nothing like yours thou a pair of wiss tin snips and a new filter spanner
