I can see myself grinding everything in sight now....
Hardened steel seems to be easier to get a better finish on it then mild steel...
If anyone needs some Velocite 3 which is an ISO2 viscosity oil, I have plenty for sale... Well 10l anyway...Gold, the colour of choice for the discerning person.

Sorry Gents I was out grinding every rusty block in sight...
Have made my soft MS parallels, parallel now... Might be looking for some case hardening stuff within a couple of months, so I will then have hardened ground parallels...Gold, the colour of choice for the discerning person.

Hi,
Continuing from Azzrock's success with the Rohm chuck, this turned up in the mail today
Its a 16mm LFA chuck with a MT4 shank....just right for Blondie. I got it off ebay from "Goodoldtoolsforyou". Michael's stuff normally goes for way more than i think it should, but i threw a max bid of $30 on it just in case i got lucky.
Well blow me down if i didn't get it for $26!!

Stop teasing me RC or I'm end up buying something I really shouldnt!
Nice work.
Goodoldtoolsforyou does seem to get good money for his stuff, I guess the MT4 saved you some cash.

Went to our local tool dealer Emporium, and they had those tables with "everything on table $x" signs.
Got a new 75-100mm mike, new 125-150mike, new electric spray gun, and centres for the woodlathe - $NZ5 each (about $A4).
Going back for a 25mm concrete bit later for a job - be another $5...

also used it on the lathe to set the tool hight

Hi Harty,
Good one, I've had my eyes on one of those for awhile.... maybe one day. Is the crosshair adjustable in one direction or both?

Hi Harty,
Thanks, I think the one I've been looking at only adjusts one way.(which I think means you'd have to move 90degrees to set up x and y,)
