I must say I thought they would go for more. But, maybe I'm making the mistake of confusing what people are "asking" for them with what people are "paying" for them.
And of course I now know its all there and working(thought could use a new crystal).. which is always a fingers crossed thing.

Had a good weekend, drop into a local garage sale, 3 x dawn 100mm G clamps, 1 x sidchrome/siddons 8 inch adjustable and 1 rivet set all in very good not abused condition for $10
Also scored an 8 inch ryobi bench grinder with good wheels and all its bits for $20, was real dirty but now looks like it just came home from bunnings, will do fine for sharpening.

Albrecht drill chuck
While I was in Germany, I picked up a used Albrecht 10mm drill chuck on MT2 arbor in very good condition for Eu10.- posted to my brother's address. Amazingly smooth operation.

I didn't really need a second power hacksaw to go with my 1950's McPherson monster and I probably shouldn't have gone to have a look at it but I succumbed to temptation and it jumped on the back of the truck while I wasn't looking (at least that's what I told the long-suffering Barbara while she was helping me unload it). $80 for this didn't seem too bad http://power hacksaw lotze 3 phase |...s | 1053828242 - it seems to be in good nick, just needs a bit of a clean up. Thanks to Ben for posting it in the EBay thread.

An old TOS universal milling machine that came into my possession last night. Included the universal milling head and some tooling.
Seems to be fully functional except for a small electrical issue that I need to resolve.Cheers.
Vernon.

Waldown Tool Grinder
The local high school was having a garage sale to clear out some surplus stuff, so I stopped buy. First thing I see when I walk in is a Waldown 7" tool grinder. I already have 3 Waldown grinders, 2 x 8" series II, one for grinding and one for buffing/wire wheel. The third grinder is a 8" series II tool grinder which I am in the middle of rebuilding. So I did didn't really "need" it but it is in pristine condition and the price was to good to pass up at $150 . It does not have any wheels so I will set it up with a std wheel on one end a green wheel or a diamond wheel on the other for carbide.
They where also selling a very good Waldown pedestal drill for $300 but As it was not a morse tapper version I passed it up.
Cheers

Thanks
Thanks Bob for your generous offer.
I would be very interested in doing a trade as neither of my grinders has a protractor fence and I was planning to make one.
Cheers

M&W internal micrometer
Got dragged into a Salvation Army shop today for a look and picked up a Moore and Wright internal micrometer for $15.00. Unfortunately it is missing the 3-4" 6-7" extensions and a couple of other small parts. It's an older model as it is in a tin box with a leather look outside and a dark blue velour finish inside, anyone have an idea as to its vintage, I looked on M&W website but it doesn't show anything except later models. Anyone out there have a similar looking set up that could tell me what is missing please.

Picked for $20.00
It's my first back plunge indicator, You would think with over 150 dial indicators I would have one, but they just don't seem to become available very often.
This one is as smooth as silk and in fantastic visual condition....Warning Disclaimer
