Comments please on these T & C plans
Acto tool and cutter grinder plans | eBay
This is a $70 set of plans for a T & C grinder. Does anyone here know anything about this thing? Comments?

Phew, he must have a 200 inch LCD monitor, I had to scroll sideways a long way to read his description.

Looks pretty good. What is the purpose of the sliding counter weight?

I thought the idea of the rapid traversing table on a T and C grinder was to minimise the risk of overheating. A comment was made about the inadequacies of the plain slides on the No.3 Hercus as compared to roller bearing slides in regards to this issue
Is it a concern then that the illustrated attachment looks to utilize screws for the movement of the work?
Still, I imagine that it must work in a satisfactory fashion for the the seller to be proffering the drawings on Ebay,
A lot less work that a Quorn and I bet less work than I have ahead of me on the Hercus.
Knock one together Gregory and inform us of it's worth.

The Description on eBay is a Pain in the Rear when You're trying to read it. The Plans were previously on Ebay earlier this Year. I did do a search and found that they have a Website with some other Plans. The Descriptions can be better Read on their Website. I have no affiliation with the Seller. It would be interesting to know how well they Work. Here is the Weblink http://www.machineryplans.com/Home.aspx .
