How about making up a sleeve on the lathe to take a 32mm one up to 40mm?

Not to bad at the moment. I just tried acupuncture last week as I am up for anything, but it's not looking good. I have only been for one visit so I will see how it goes after a few more.
That arbour from H&F's in the link above will get you out of trouble, but it is expensive.
If you contact CTC he maybe able to get you one cheaper, as a lot of members here have got things that aren't listed on his website, you just have to ask.

DaveJ,
May I ask, what ails you?
There's nothing worse than being crook, it takes away the pleasure of escaping into the shed.

milling machines are fun
well i couldn't find one from ctc tools ect. and didnt want to buy one from hare and forbs.
so i did sleeve a a 20mm arbor was not being used. the two different size drive keys and not having any tooling to machine the slot in the sleeve made the job more complicated than it should of been.
after making the sleeve,t shaped drive key and the big washer to hold it all together.
i mounted it in the mill at work and gave it a spin.
i haven't used one of these tipped face cutters before and i really was impressed with the result. . so i took a few cuts on a extended cross slide casting that was yelling out to be finished. after that i dont think ill be bothering to do any fly cutter style facing work again.. now im trying to think of other jobs i can use it for.
