how much should i have paid for this
i just bough this at a garage sale it is a drill drift with a wedge so you don't have to pound on the machine to remove to tool what do you think a good price would be

I bought 2 Chinese knock off's for $10 each. He now has them for $27

well i guess i got an alright deal i spent $120 and i got three tool holders made in the USA two dead centers a handful of tool steel and the drill drift made in Sweden

When I worked in the sheet metal shop we cut them from a bit of scrap 3mm plate.

LOL, I bought mine a year or two ago so don't blame me. He has been strange with his prices. I bough a parallel set off him ages ago for around $50 then they changed to $60 buy it now and now their $95. I was going to buy another set but not at that price.
Claw Hama,
These ones make thing so much easier, no more holding the quill down while you have the drift and hammer in one hand and try catching the drill bit or chuck in the other. Their also good for separating MT adapters off drills etc as you can do them in your hand.
They work by folding the handle 90 deg and the 2 wedges work against each other making it expand to push on the tang, a one handed operation.
