It's a slippery slope Eskimo. Before you know it you'll be branded a spelling nazi.

its cool
No problem. Im glad you did. Its reminded me to think a little about what I write. Start the spell checker and try every now and then(is that the right now?)to include capital letters.
the funny thing about it is you said." I see your mum n dad wasted their money."
if only you know how much they had wasted. It wasn't all wasted thou. Some of the more
interesting things seemed to stick up in my brain somewhere.

If the teachers back then had of told us that we would need to learn to write and spell properly so we could communicate with other people over the internet about our favorite hobby, we might have listened more.
I don't know about you guys, but there where no computers even around when I went to school. The photo copier was technology then, LOL
Well I suppose we are not too off topic, your latest project, a spell checker.

Photocopier? I remember turning the handle of a machine that stank like the spirit it used to transfer the hand written word to paper. Museum item only now. Damn hard to read cos of the teachers bad writing and it slowly faded as more copies were made.
Thank god etc for photocopiers.

Gestetners they were called. The company - or the name at least - seems to be going strong.

I found one lying around at the dump a few years ago and managed to resist bringing it home. Probably got some great bits inside for recycling.

Lathe Chuck Soft Jaws
Seems an obvious idea, but I've never seen them. My main purpose is to help compensate for worn jaws. Over time I expect the copper to thin at the inner ends where the pressure is higher. Non-marring is a side benefit. I used 1/2" pipe, annealed and opened out.
