A similar tool holder would make a terrific project. Anyone got any drawings?
The only problem with the real thing, is the price, otherwise I would be tempted to buy one.

Some time back I contacted the company about buying one and just wanted to confirm that it would be the correct one to fit the original holder of the Hercus before submitting my order. They couldn't be bothered replying so guess what, I couldn't be bothered buying it
For the same price I bought a complete Chinese copy QCTP and for not much more a set of cheap copy Chinese insert tools. China gets richer, Australia gets poorer. Sadly this seems to be a typical attitude by so many local companies; too busy whinging about how bad business is I guess

Ken,
The Gadgetbuilder has an article about a tangential tool holder. It's not a detailed construction project but does contain a few pointers to other sources.Geoff
