Default I'm after some odd milling cutters

I need some tooling that will cut the same profiles as the attached router bits. They're for cutting brass and need to be 1/2"ish diameter

A corner rounding milling cutter and a ball nose end mill is what you are after. The sets on Aus ebay are around $220 for the corner rounding and around $100 for the ball nose end mill set.I am not sure about brass (someone else on here might have experience) or how much you have to do, but I know you can use carbide router bits on aluminium, it might be worth giving it a try on some scrap brass.

I have done some milling with router bits when in a pinch. If the half round isn't to big and you take light passes you should be able to use a half inch shank router bit to do it, 1/4 inch shank bits aren't rigid enough, for the ball end I would get a proper ballmill cutter they aren't that expensive and quite usefull to have but a router bit should work there to. In the photo I am relieving the flutes on an acme tap I made this was tool steel and it did the job fine.

First question, what is that material on the cutting face of the router bit made from ?

Second question, how hard is brass ?

Third question, what cuts brass like a hot knife through butter ?

Please answer these 3 simple questions and then if you have the router bit, just bloody well use it.

    Problemo solvered.

That stuff is FREELY available in Australia, but just not as cheap as that lot.

Better be sitting down when Bolts and Industrial gives you the price for the 1/2 inch ball nosed cutter.

Have you had a look at what's on E-bay ?

I am not sure if you live near a Bunnings store, but they often have cheap sets of router bits $20-$30 or as radish says Ebay.

I have used WW router bits many times on brass but my question to you is what are you going to use to driver the cutters?
