Ditto here, I was just going to say the same, other threads I have opened seem to work as normal.
Rob.
I'm still having occasional issues with this one.
Michael
#MeToo last night I ended up double posting as a result.
Still having issues - the only site I go to that does. Is there anything that can be done?
Michael
Last time I asked I was told that Admin are aware of the problem and its ongoing.
Please try and remember they are doing this as a non paid effort and you pay nothing to participate.
I know its is frustrating but bear with us.
It seems to happen at different people at different times. Possibly it might be helpful to the tech if you can indicate the date, time when you tried to login and where you are posting from.
Please see Neils' response to the problem back in post No 8.
Grahame
Thanks Graham. I tried the things suggested in post 8 but it did not improve things (as per posts 10 and 13). The reason for my continued enquiries on this issue is that I was not aware anything was happening. Your post is the first I've been told it is being looked at, so that is good (I'll stop prompting...).
Michael
It has been a consistent problem for at least the past 2 weeks or more. Also happens on the WWF. I have not experienced it on any other site.
It's not a problem as such but very annoying. It needs to be fixed, but let us allow the tech guys to enjoy their Christmas / New Break
I'm in Melbourne and it is happening every day at all times of the day and night
Bob
Supposed to be an upgrade of the vBulletin software to latest stable version happening some time this weekend on these forums. So if the whole thing goes off the air for an hour or so that will be it happening.
:fingerscrossed:
Update to forums was done today. Let's know if there's still timing out problem. If so it may be fixed sometime in the next week or so after Woodwork Forums has also been updated as both forums will most likely suffer from the same glitch(es) along with any other problems that may crop up with more use.
:U
It seemed to improve after the upgrade but the last few days, it has been timing out quite a bit.
