Looks like Steven has finally found a fix for the problem, at least it does from my end.

    SW all 4 - 50%.pngHG50%.png007.jpg

These are three big files all loaded at the same time and all automatically resized from 10MB+ down to reasonable file sizes.

    Well done Steven!

Let us know if there are any more problems and we'll run and hide do our best to fix them.... But don't get too carried away.

    Cheers - Neil

Seems to work here now. Price of diesel got you down, try KW's new coal fired trucks.

    Joe,
Now that the images seem to be under control ill answer this.
In my eyes this would not be a good thing. i notice that most of the metal work threads are still on the wood work forum (i did find the HM52 CNC thread there first) however i think going forward, if the metal work side of things is to grow you would need to attract people to it. If someone told me that there was this great metal work forum.......its called "Practical Quilting", i doubt i would be inclined to click on the link.

    Thats my 2c worth.
    keep well, Regards Ryan

Bad news from me I'm afraid - no change. Only previously loaded images work.

What file format are you trying to upload .jpg, .gif, .png, .pdf, other?

Where are you trying to load from - laptop, desktop, tablet, phone, other?

What browser - Firefox, Chrome, Opera, IE, other? What version?

    Windows, Apple, other?

Do you get a message or nothing at all?

Are you loading through the Insert Image icon in the quick reply box or from the Attachments icon or Manage Attachments link in the Advanced message window?

Answering as many of the above may be of help in tracking down your problem

    Cheers - Neil

It would be a massive disaster trying to go back to WWF. Although it may seem there are less posts etc there aren't. Posting on most forums fluctuates throughout the year but I can tell you for a fact that there are more updates to Google searches for MWF now than there ever have been before, there are way more visitors to these forums than ever before and the average number of posts are above what they were on WWF.

Since moving to this site the average daily posts has been 63, some days there are a lot more some days there are as few as 30. It's not every day that there is something to say. Prior to leaving WWF the average was closer to 45 per day (more before the likes links were added).

Over all MWF is slightly up in all areas on what it was before the shift. The main thing to have had an effect on stats both here and on WWF is the Thanks for this post and Like this post, links. Where before there were a lot of posts saying thank you now there are way less. so overall MWS is doing pretty well for itself. It can do better and I'm sure it will as time goes by.

Forums everywhere are down on what they were some years ago thanks to Facebook, Twitter, Pintrest and a raft of other social media programs and I'm not sure that mobile phones and smaller tablets have helped much either.

    Cheers - Neil

OK.... Now back to the crux of this thread, picture problems.

Thanks for the reality check Neil! That is good news.
The image issue appears to be solved. Any idea what the problem was when the solution was found?

    Has something else changed?

I was not logged in but could read new or added to posts (bold type etc) and the image appeared as file name *******.jpg etc

I could click the file and it would open up.

I thought only registered users who were logged on were able to see images?
