Default Help Identify and wire motor

    Hi,

I have this large what looks to be a DC motor (BLDC?)

It is bolted inside a machine at the moment so these are the best pictures I can get.

I managed to use a mirror to take a picture of the ID plate for the motor.

    In the junction box there are wires labeled T1, T2, A1, C1, E1, E2.

T1/T2 and A1/C1 have continuity while E1 and E2 does not have continuity and also does not have ground leakage.

Can anyone help identify the type of motor and how to test it?

    Thanks

If F means the field voltage at 200V and A means armature voltage of 160V then like a 10EE lathe it will need a complicated controller.

I take it it is off something with variable speed and lots of torque down low.
