DC stepper motors voltage??
I have had about a dozen DC stepper motors given to me, which is great, but none of the motors have a voltage or wattage written on them. They came out of a blood analysis machine that broke down.
How can I work out the voltage and wattage? Also I don't have any fancy electrical testing equipment, except for a multi meter.
Can put up pics of what data is on the motors, tomorrow if that helps.
Thanks

If they have manufacturer and model numbers on them, I suspect that you could locate some info online. For the most part the data would relate to max voltage, max current, torque and steps per rotation. They are driven by pulse strings when they need to move, rather than straight DC so it would be unlikely for them to have a power rating.
I used to be an engineer, I'm not an engineer any more, but on the really good days I can remember when I was.
