Default Could this be used in aluminium ?

Shaper Origin - Handheld CNC router

If you were only taking little cuts would it be possible to use this thing in Aluminium ?

    Its an amazing gadget.

I'd say you would get very poor results.

If you check YouTube you'll fund a video of a bloke using one in aluminium sheet stuck to chipboard. He used milling cutters, and it seemed to do a good job. Amazing machine!

Don't get a great look at it in that video, but the edge finish does not look great.

It may be possible ro make some cuts in Alu, but it's a bit like using a 50kg mini mill for steel - the results will be poor.

Thanks Pippin, that 50kg comment helped me to understand this gadget a bit better.
