Polycarbonate Protective Film Removal
Got a 260 mm clock with a lost glass face and a request to fit a new glass.
Found some old (very old) polycarbonate with protective film both sides.
Cannot remove the protective film.
Tried Methylated Spirits, Shellite and Eucalyptus Oil to no avail.
The oil did seem to assist, would soaking overnight help ?
Any suggestions ?

Are you sure its PC usually its the film on acrylic that is a bugger to remove
Kero always works for me - yes long soak needed.

Bob,
Not sure its PC, but it is quite flexible for the thickness.
I will put the disc into kero for a few days.
