    Default Venison Jerky

    My weekend beer snacks are coming along nicely, Sambar that was taken from the banks of the Mitta Mitta river in the Mitta Valley, 1kg sliced and marinated for 24 hours and put in the dehydrator.

    Just a few more hours and it'll be ready to eat, my mouth is watering

    Did you take the deer or was the meat from a friend who hunted?
    Brian and I are into knife making and are thinking antlers and knife handles,

    Yeah I shot the deer Grahame, unfortunately I didn't take the antlers, I didn't have a saw with me and I was more interested in the meat, I recon I got about 50kg of venison in the freezer.

    would've made great knife handles

    I'll bring a saw with me next time.
