Nothing like the smell of sulphurised cutting oil smoke in the morning
After not using my mill since last Xmas due to a number of reasons, one of which included a dark coloured dog, I was able to get in and do a small job yesterday. Nothing special, in fact so not special I'm not posting pics.
Just drilling and tapping 10 T nuts.
I have some nice little clamps that can't use studs any larger than 10mm dia and as I couldn't buy T nuts to fit my mill with 10mm holes, a few months ago I bought some undrilled T nuts.
On Sat I went and bought some Hi Tensile 10mm threaded bar and yesterday got stuck in on the mill to to the nuts. Job went ok. Set them up in 2 lots of 5. Dropped them upside down into the slot on the table and just lightly clamped the ends to hold them down.
Even tried out the old tapping head that I have had for about 6 or 7 years but never used. Haven't used one of these since about 1976.
Didn't realise how much I had missed the smell of hot cutting oil.
Now my wife is trying to think up some machining projects for me.

Peter, good to see you back at the mill.
Do you have a horizontal bandsaw? One project that I've just added to my (long) list to do is a clamping plate for the bandsaw.
Saw it on here recently I think (on phone so can't grab the link). It's just a flat piece of steel with a grid of threaded holes to allow clamping of pieces of whatever size and at whatever angle you desire. One end has a 45° angle to better support 45° cuts. Much more versatile than the bandsaw vice. You can just clamp the plate in the bandsaw vice, or probably better tap some holes in the saw and bolt it down.
Your T nuts reminded me of it, because you would use the mill clamping kit with it.

Thanks. I dont really have any projects for it atm but its nice to have it set up so I can use it now
No. I dont have any room for one here either. Hoping not to have to be cutting much big stuff so will see how I go.
Sounds like an interesting project.
