The reply from Supergrit-attn BobL
The following is the reply to my emailed postage inquiry to Supergrit. As I indicated to BobL I would post it here, so here it is.
It seems more messing around to me. It wasn't what I was expecting but it is the way they do things. I suppose they have their reasons.
" Grahame,
Please place your order online & we will email with the shipping cost prior to finalizing your order. When placing your order you will be asked to select a “STATE” please select any & we will make the appropriate changes required. We will NOT process your credit card or ship your order without authorization from you! "

Thanks G, this has happened to me a few times.
Because they will rarely ship to a place like Australia they won't know the cost of shipping and will themselves have to get a shipping quote
I suppose they don't want to mess around with getting a shipping quote until they have a likely expectation for an order.
