Well it turned out to be a bit of a non-event.
I didn't have to go flat out it was all done at sort of power walking pace.
After wiring me up I walked on a tread mill until my hear rate reached 138 BPM and held that for 3 minutes.
Then they increased the slope of the tread mill till my heart rate reached 157 BPM and held it for 2 minutes.
That was it.
Preliminary results indicate no problems which I am happy about.

Good luck BobL. I had one several years ago. The bad news is that once you get to "till I drop" stage, I had to hold my breath for 10 - 20 seconds while they did scans - I thnk I managed 5 seconds?
Anyhow my results were all clear.
