    Default Parallel Flange Channel

I should really get around to making up a stand I've been promising myself for several years now. To do that I need around 4.5m of PFC, either in the 75x40 size or the 100x50 size. Before I raid the local steel place, has a member in Adelaide got any surplus? It will cut up into lengths 650mm long or less, so short lengths are quite alright.

Does it have tp be PFC, can you get away with tapered flange?

I need the height (say 80 to 100mm) as it is just to lift something up that much. I didn't see TFC in that size when I checked some catalogues.

Hi Michael, if you can email me the sizes you need I'll have a look and see what I can find for you. From memory it's 100 X 50.
Will it matter if it has joins in it as there are a few shorter bits in the bin???

Thanks Kryn. Shorter pieces don't worry me - I have the technology to join them. I'll send an email.
