Some oddball taps wanted
Hi..
Due to the success of my previous post... I thought I might try again..
8-36 NF tap
1/8 BSF tap and die.
1/8 UNF tap and die

1/8 BSF does not exist according to the few thread charts I found online. It starts at 3/16. Unless it is a really old thread that pre-dates modern thread charts.
Gold, the colour of choice for the discerning person.

I thought I may have trouble with that one !... i found a reference to it with 48 tpi..
But then again 1/16 and 3/32 BSW don't show up on charts nowadays either.

The tables in the back of Tubal Cain's book of drills taps and dies shows 1/16 and 3/32 BSW
But
BSF's start at 3/16", UNFs start at 1/4"
There is a table of "specials with a Whitworth form" for model engineers which shows 1/8 available in 40 (same as BSW) and 60 TPI.
8-36 is listed.
