Pratt Burnerd Collet Chuck LC-15 KC-15
Recently I picked up a very nice set of Pratt Burnerd EC Multisize collets, most of them still not unwrapped from the original wrapping.
Their is only a couple of minor problems.....
1. I am missing the EC5 collet.......which is probably still in the chuck that I am also missing.
So if anyone has a knows where I can find a Pratt Burnerd KC-15 or LC15 collet chuck (preferably with a D1-6 mount) please let me know.
Cheers
Piers

Hi Piers,
Apex machinery is showing one on there web site, it was there when I was there last, a couple of years ago. It wasn't cheap, I think around $1000 with a set of collets.
Regards
Bruce

The one that I looked at was D1-6.

Thanks Bruce & Ralph,
I had remembered an Apex add that mentioned the collet chuck, so I gave them a call but it was sold.
There was one on a Grays auction this week with a set of collets but it was in NSW. Ended up around going for $319 + RIP.
I will keep my eye on auctions. When the chucks come up without the collets they go very cheap.
Cheers
Piers
