    Default Wanted Colchester Bantam parts.

I am looking for a set of standard change gears and a quadrant for a Mk1 Colchester Bantam and also most importantly a tailstock to suit one. Centre height is around 5.6" So also I may be interested in something that can be made to fit.

    Thanks in advance.

Did you buy that red one on gumtree? What dp are the changewheels do you know? Any parts prices from the real 600 group are going to make you cry, but they are going to be your only hope for a quadrant although someone here can probably supply dimensions at least.

Yes it is the Red one from gumtree. It was actually at Torrens Island power station. The quadrant looks pretty straightforward to make from plate if I had the dimensions. Knock of gears are available from RDG in the Uk. The tailstock is the real worry. Probably will need to modify something from a similar sized lathe.

And for those that missed it here are some pictures, I haven't picked it up and probably won't until the week after next to give me a chance to finish messing with my tool and cutter grinder

A few but at that money I couldn't not have it, especially since the ways have no visible wear.
