Hi
This is my two in one angle grinder belt sander attachment.

Video is from the making process:
Sander can be used as an traditional belt sander.
Or hand held pipe / curve sander, show video below:
Wanted make it easy to mount / unmount and to be used without tools.
I use it with cordless grinder, which makes it portable.
I have used it to clean welds, removing paint and zinc coating from pipes and shaping wood.
Used skateboard wheels couple first months.
But then i turned new drive pulley from nylon, without any actual reason, skateboard wheel worked nicely, just wanted little more "professional" look to it.

Thank you. I tried to find the simpliest way to make it.
"Pipe sander" is a compromise, wanted to use it with both, wood & steel.
For polishing pipes it would have been better if the lower arm is swiveled, then it sands larger area.
But when sanding down welds or shaping wood.
I noticed that its better that it sands only from the area that user can see. Then its easier to sand welds to surface level or get desired shape to wood.
Not so effective as a pipe polisher than swiveled models, but more accurate as a sander.

Angle grinder cuts
Thanks,
I didn't realise that all sorts of shapes can be cut with an angle grinder. It was very useful to see whats possible and some ways of achieving complicated shapes.

Thanks.
Specially with flap wheels one can easily make curves with angle grinder, both internal or external.
That's why i use mostly straight flap wheels instead of tilted ones.
I like that those fit better to shaping, than tilted ones are better when grinding something to surface level.
