Been years since I have been to mutawintji National Park BTW.
SimonGirl, I don't wanna know about your mild-mannered alter ego or anything like that." I mean, you tell me you're, uh, super-mega-ultra-lightning babe? That's all right with me. I'm good. I'm good.

Yea. I've been all through there. Then onto Broken Hill, Mutawintji and Tibooburra. The first time I went to Mungo NP was with a mate, it was in Feb and 44 degrees and all we had we swags. No shade.
Edit: Just watch the video on Tibooburra. That brought back memories. I camped at the camp ground at the end of town on the RHS at the foot of a rocky outcrop. Walking to the top of the rocks yeilds amazing views into the distance.
I love it.Girl, I don't wanna know about your mild-mannered alter ego or anything like that." I mean, you tell me you're, uh, super-mega-ultra-lightning babe? That's all right with me. I'm good. I'm good.

Yes ... That is still the campground. Tho it doesn't appear in my video. I usually drive west of Milparinka to a place called Depot Glen (where Sturt's party was trapped at the only billabong left) and camp there or nearby.
Outback NSW is probably one of the best overlooked places in the world. I love Broken Hill too, my favourite city. I would live there if the kids n grandkids would let me ... heheeee
