    Default Router Modification

I had intended to use a fixed base router with my recently acquired Leigh dovetail jig, but found I needed to make modifications to the router handles to make it more suitable.
The stalks I made out of aluminium, the grips are rubber bicycle handle bar grips and inside them is 22mm nylon solid rod.
The slots in the handgrips were milled through the rubber.
    All went to plan.
If I was to do it again I probably would reduce the rake of the handles a little.
