Default Got ideas for my rifle bits

Hello I have a few rails I want to extend from 12 inches to 14 inches, it's an aluminum picatinny rail, I have 6 I can use, I'd sacrifice one or two for the project.
What's the best way to attach them back, it's too small for a couple pins, but I was thinking brazing, I do not own a welder I can use. Any advice or tips?

Any chance of a few pics, PLEASE. It helps when asking for advise/help to put up some pics of what your trying to do/achieve, as some/most people, don't know what an aluminum picatinny rail is, including me.It's not just you, but a lot of new members asking for help, do the same thing. What is called one thing in the Northern Hemisphere, is not nessecarilly the same Down Under.

i think it would be easier to make custom longer rails than try and join 2 together . i very much doubt that picy rails could be joined and kept straight enough to be of much use . not saying there is no way of doing it but it would not be easy .

trying to work out why you would want them that long or mess about trying to join them when you can buy them up to crazy lengths anyway and they aint expensive .i believe its the new tactical look trend . ahh just tig weld em together and paint em black .to braze aluminium is not an easy task .

Not sure how to add pictures, I'll post links to my photobucket, and it's hard to get these up here, it's for mostly ascetics but I have a 14 inch hand guard and it's actually sharp on the hands for me I want to cover it and use rail covers

I agree, I do not have a tig welder available, and I can only get them to 12 inches for a keymod rail, the supplier in the US, even China won't make them longer, here the one one my hand guard

To load pics on here, click on the insert image icon which is the third on the left of the last row on the right. A box will come up asking for "Add image from URL/ Computer", if your pics are on the computer, click computer. You'll then be asked to "Select Files", open where you have your photos. If you're going to load several, use the control key to do this. Click on the "open" box then "Upload files" A trailer.jpg, they should then appear on here. HOPEFULLY.
