Weld Positioner
Hey Metalworkers!
Just started to make my weld positioner/rotator.
Nothing fancy like some of the projects around, but it will turn things for me.
Plans for it: Adjustable speed, no fancy controls. Vertical or horizontal. Remote roller stand (for longer items to be held, similar to a steady). \
Maybe an add-on power fed holder, for buildups.
Mostly made from mild steel, some k1045.
Larger end was some rectangular bis plate - lucky dip material.
I'll update the thread with more photos and hopefully a video later.

nice work so far, keen to see how this turns out, what are you goin to use for speed control, something like a 24V DC motor driven by a pwm controller? i was thinking of doin something like this but using a wire feed motor drive out of a mig welder
