    Default Thompson

I spotted an error in the story where it's claimed that they made 25 pounder guns during WW2 . They would have been a sub-contractor to GMH who were the main contractor. The 25 pnder gun was finally assembled by GMH with many sub-contractors involved . Mistakes like that , makes you wonder how accurate the rest of the article is .

A truthful statement would have been: MADE PARTS FOR THE 25 Pounder gun.

If you have a look at appendix six where the wartime production is detailed that's exactly what's said.
