    Default Belt Driven Drill Press

Is this drill press worth the (significant) effort to drag out from under my fathers house or should I leave it for the house demolition.

If you can get to it easily and think you can get it out without breaking any part of it, I would suggest yes get it out, as it is you cant really judge condition.

If it isn't damaged/broken it could be worth a few dollars.

People restore and use these older style drill presses.

If you don't intend to sell , give away or keep just leave it there.

I love old drills. I restore them for fun. So my biased opinion is to pull it out and save some history they won't make any more of them.

If the DP is able to be restored it will be better in many ways than some of the rubbish being sold at the shops nowdays.

Its ideal as a long term project.

More than likely there will be someone about who has one.
