Casting Repair Help
Anyone into Cast welding/brassing who lives in QLD south east?
In years gone by I would have done a Braze weld repair or given it my best shot, now days i don't have the gear or hand control.
Stanley No45 Router Plane Restoration Resquest for HELP!!!
I discovered a section of casting broken its the depth gauge lock bolt area pic shows my gear and one with the area in tact.

Thanks to the gent who drove over an hour and spent a few hours doing the task. Putting up with one of my bad days physically, who wishes to remain anonymous.
This plane and two others braze welded. The one above is looking great no distortion in any of the 3, I have cleaned up the block plane and rebate plane a respray to do, yet to work on the above.
You my not realise it sir but you've opened the doors of confidence to possibly have a go myself in the future........just need that oxy acyt bottles
