    Default Hi From Rosebery!

    G'day Everyone!

I'm Adam but my mates call me Flo. I registered on this site years ago but have only just started posting.

I'm located in Rosebery and spent a lot of years fixing aeroplanes for a living. I love mucking around with tools and fixing things and my workshop is my single car garage.. Unfortunately my cars don't get the benefit of being undercover anymore and I am quickly running out of space due to welders and tool boxes and other stuff taking up valuable real estate.

I have dabbled in a little hobby level machining work and had the use of my step-father's lathe for a few years. That little taiwanese lathe has since returned to him and I have been looking for another lathe.. I just purchased an old Purcell New Visby lathe as a renovation project with the aim of getting it back up to operational status for my use, so I'm sure that I'll be asking few questions about that. Time will tell if I have bitten off more than I can chew!

Anyway I'll see you around the forums!

    Cheers,

    Flo

Good one on posting Flo, you chose a good lathe to get started with, not much you can't do with it.
