Gippsland Historic Open Wheeler
B4C9BF98-45F6-444F-B056-D02F93E51002.jpeg
G’day from Gippsland - My Dad was Foreman at Elfin Sports Cars In Adelaide in the sixties - over the last few years he & I have taken great pleasure in restoring a F2 Monocoque that he was part of the original build team for!
Cheers

Thanks for the pics. Looks more like an aircraft part than a open wheeler?

We did talk to the aircraft engineers at Temora who green lit our use of integral fuselage/tank sealant on the Monocoque - they advised us to leave some avgas in it all the time to ensure that the sealant doesn’t dry out and crack, just like their Spitfire!
