Hi my name is Col, live in Perth Western Australia and have just purchased a chinese lathe ex a high school, it is a C0 630A/1000 made in 2004. It is a bit of voyage of discovery as someone has cleaned the labels on the headstock to the extent that the threading and feed tables are unreadable, downloading manuals from the net has not worked as the lathe is no longer made and current ones using the same name are different. Would love other from someone who has a CO630A of the same vintage.

Hi Col,
I suspect it may be a CQ630A as a couple of schools I taught had CQ ( somethings ) lathes;.
They were a pretty generic lathe made in Taiwan, I think. Somebody may still have a manual with the data tables therein.
