..newbee :)
hi everyone, just like to say hello, looking forward to seeing what your all up to, .. and what projects your going to be working on in 2018, U gota keep those tools and things working, its amazing how just a few weeks rest, and they start to rust up, if there not been handled, or very well oiled. whenever I worked as a jillaroo, my favourite tool in the work area was the 8 inch pedestal grinder/ wire wheel,..i kept all the tools rust free and sharp. it was always appriecated, I think.

Hi Stephanie,
Welcome to the Metalwork Forums
Yes, its a battle at times to keep a good finish on a tool particularly when it is not used regularly. After bringing a tool back to a decent condition I find what works for me to preserve it is Supacheap fish oil in a spray can.
It is tacky, to begin with, but preserves the tool finish against rust for far longer than many other expensive products and cheap too.
Projects? well maybe a little one, to make a jigsaw frame I saw on U tube.

It looks to be quite versatile.
