Newbie from Lismore
G'Day All,
Please allow me to introduce myself.
I'm Don & live in Lismore NSW. I have very recently found this forum & looking forward to participating on it.
I am a retired fitter & turner & I am currently working on a 1.5" scale Aveling road roller that is I.C. engine powered. More on this when I start a thread on the roller's build.
Thanks for accepting me into this forum.
Regards,
Don.

Welcome Don.
I am looking forward to seeing the build. I have to make a road roller myself sometime. I need to get my drive built up a bit as well as some of the tracks, gateways etc around the place. The drive leading up to my carport has been under about 100mm of water for a distance of about 10m most of winter. This is a circular drive. The main drive is about 150m long.
My build will be along the lines of a frame to mount a 1000 litre container on, with a row of 4WD wheels underneath. I need to work out how many wheels to use.

Hi.
If you get up to Brisbane you should come out to Petrie Town and have a look at our Aveling.
