Gidday from Sydney
Hi I have joined this forum hoping that I may find someone to help identify and sell the countless machines and tools in my father's garage. He worked in the mechanical engineering industry for many years and accumulated a lot of equipment which needs to now find new homes. He has dementia so he can't help me identify some of the more specialist equipment. My parents are looking to sell up and move into a nursing home soon.
The larger items include a New Visby and a Himount lathe. The New Visby will be a challenge to get out of the garage! There is also a milling machine which I don't think ever ran though. I found today (part of?) a Perfecto Hand Shaper. Each time I explore I find something new (actually very old mostly!)
He has lots of the associated equipment, some of which I am not sure what they are.
If anyone lives in the Parramatta area and has some free time to help identify and maybe value items, please let me know. Alternatively I can post pictures of the items. Advice is needed and welcomed.

Hi John,
The people here will definitely be able to help you identify your dad's machines. I suggest you post pictures in the General forum.Chris
