    Default Lock tool shaper

I have the same shaper but with the base that it comes with. Paid $250. Nice unit. I think Joe gave me the heads up.
    Cheers Bruce.

It does look like a nice machine, and a reasonable resto. Rang the bloke and he has a serious buyer locked in. Pity (for me....). I did think it was not so cheap, but good ones do seem to be creeping up in price these days.
Interesting that it doesn't have dovetails on the ram, like a Douglas.

Not a brand I'm familiar with so had a look-see in Trove.

    Funny things yer find...

"...MELBOURNE, Sunday. — A nightwatchman fired two shots at a man he disturbed in the Lock Tool Co.'s factory in North Fitzroy, Melbourne, early today. The man had been trying to cut open a safe in the office, not realising the safe was unlocked. William Partridge, a watchman employed by Metropolitan Night Patrol Service, entered the factory at 2 a.m. and saw a man trying to burn open the office safe with oxyacetylene equipment. The man ran from the building and the watchman fired two shots at him as he scaled a 10ft. fence and escaped across a tennis court..."

Bit more trivia - Seems Lock Tool Co survived until 1990 -
