If you buy that one you will still need to buy an adapter if you wish to use annular cutters.

Cant help you with the magdrill, but I bought a Honda whipper snipper, pole saw, hedge trimmer from that company.
HONDA POWERED Pole Chainsaw Hedge Trimmer GX35 Multi Tool Saw 4-Stroke Petrol 9348948017928 | eBay
To be honest if I had seen it in person, I wouldn't have bought it.
The motor looks genuine Honda, but ever thing else is cheap, the plastic is flimsy and very soft, you cant tighten throttle etc as the plastic just stretches.
I have replaced the throttle assembly with one from a Sthil , the Chain Cover will need to be replaced soon, also the handle.
I have a genuine Honda W/S that is 10 or 15 years old, it is like comparing chalk to cheese.
After years using Sthil, Husky, Honda as a horticulturalist, I am proberly spoilt, this one will do me around the house till I retire.

Got the drill today. Not happy. First issue I noticed was the gear is misaligned with the rack. At least 3mm to left of rack. Need more time to look at this but rack may be installed crooked. It also has been drilled and tapped for mounting I presume and a lot of metal has been removed from some of the teeth. With the gear offset there is not a lot of metal left to engage the gear. Next issue was with the up and down travel. Lowering the drill results in a sudden drop of at least 4mm about three quarters of way through down travel. Not sure yet what the problem is there. Have not even powered it up. Pretty sure this will be returned. Will contact seller to see what he has to say. Overall I'd say it is poor quality.

Have contacted seller about returning the drill. Having a hard time convincing them of the problems. They want photos and videos. Can anyone here watch the video I will link to and let me know if anything is obvious to them. Here's the link - https://streamable.com/xx6nf

I'm not sure, hard to see what the problem is from the video. Have you actually tried drilling a hole with it?

What are you trying to show in the video ?
I can see the gear is offset slightly but not enough that it would generally be seen as "defective". Like you said could just be misalignment of the rack but even if not while not 100% aligned not enough that I think it would be classified as defective.
Otherwise all that I can see in that video is some backlash in the gear / rack combo, would think this would be normal for a gear / rack combo without any backlash removal devices.
When you say "Lowering the drill results in a sudden drop of at least 4mm about three quarters of way through down travel." is this if you have been lowering it already or if you decide to lower it from that position ?
Like if your lowering the drill onto the work piece and have been moving it down 20mm already will it then suddenly drop 4mm potentially smacking the drill into the work piece or can this problem simply be negated by making sure you don't start lowering the drill with it initially only 4mm about the work piece ?
If it's a sudden drop which would be a problem I would recommend re doing your video in good light, shown from the side where you can see a steady lowering by the handle and the drill suddenly dropping.
Cheers

Huge (well above normal backlash for a gear rack combo) compared to anything else I have ever used. Misaligned gear and rack. This is enough to cause problems with the large holes drilled and tapped through rack for mounting. Enough to eventually break a tooth on the rack I think especially as about a third of the tooth is missing. Gear is also not fixed to shaft so the more it is used the worse it will get. When the drill drops is during downfeed. As you stated, this will cause drill to suddenly smack into whatever is being drilled as control of feed is lost when this happens. Will do another video in good light as soon as I can to show this.

I'd say you got what you paid for: a typical Chinese kit to make a usable tool from.
Take the pinion out, turn or grind the offset amount off one end of the spacer or hub, and replace the now missing distance with a washer at the other end.
Next, loosen the rack and push some feeler gauges behind it until you are happy with the backlash. Then find a strip of sheet metal or shimming the same size as the feeler gauge you were happy with and shim the rack.
Have a good look at the vertical slides and gib and find the cause for the dropping or jumping and fix it by stoning, scraping or whatever is needed. Keep the slide reasonably tight and well lubricated.
Then keep your fingers crossed that the motor lasts as long as you need the mag drill.
I didn't like the Chinese kit approach and bought a used 40 year old German Duss one for similar money instead. They cost around $3000 new now and they assured me they have every replacement part in stock and sent me a scan of the manual and parts list for the asking....
