    It's amazing how many people find an old piece of junk (machinery or tools) and think they are on a gold mine.

    Here's a better one, he wants $750. Ridiculous when you compare it to the Lotze for $125. I notice a lot of people ad 'vintage' or 'collectors item' to their machinery ads and so put ridiculous prices on them. If I could manage to lift the Lotze I'd grab it as a good project, lucky if I could lift the spare blades for it these days...

    There was a table saw here in SA for $500, only problem was half of it was missing and it had more rust on it than the Titanic. I would have been interested, except it was all cast iron, weight about a tonne and I needed something I could actually use and not leave to rot in the garden. A steal.

    Sometimes the audience is wrong, some of these items need to be marketed to interior designers and the like, for extra premium scrap prices.
