    A normal auction in Brisbane...

I doubt too much stuff here for the HSM unless you have a large shed..

The prices this seller gets always astonishes me. I stopped bidding on their items a long time ago.

Not that it's a bad grinder.. but I can't imagine the scrappers would pay $900 for it: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Surface-g...-/191559604724

Well we have all seen overseas sellers not want to post outside their country...

Now I have seen an Australian seller refuse to post to certain areas of Australia..namely regional Qld..

    www.ebay.com.au/itm/141335504995

    Item location: Lynbrook, VIC, Australia
    Posting to: Worldwide
Excludes: Northern Territory, QLD Far North, QLD Regional, WA Remote

Might be the extra postage cost, although you can get ebay to calculate postage based on purchaser location and parcel size.
    Cheers.

Couple of HBM's for you, though.

I used to go there every few years when we'd dry dock a ship. Interesting place but I've always been a sucker for heavy engineering stuff.

If any of you guys happen to go to this auction. I would be interested to find out what the elgarmills and the vertical borers go for.

You'd need to get one of the 50 tonne cranes as well just to move stock around the workshop.
